Ranking

Each Division will have the same ranking and the council will set the requirements for each field with the exception of the below requirements that apply to all fields.

 

· Apprentice

(a) Anyone with an interest in Missile Arts and Sciences may petition to this level, no skill level is necessary.

(b) Minimum 1 year training period before petitioning for advancement can be submitted for a higher rank.

(c) To advance, member must demonstrate a working knowledge of their particular field of interest and a sound understanding of how that area is practiced in the SCA.

 

· Journeyman

(a) Demonstrate an ability to teach knowledge gained as an Apprentice to others.

(b) Demonstrate a thorough grasp in history of their field of interest

(c) Demonstrate an ability to produce quality items related to their field of interest

(d) During their petition year for Senior, the Journeyman will be observed for overall skill and teaching ability and will prepare a Masterwork, to be presented to the Council with the Chancellor’s report.

(e) The Council will evaluate and vote on the advancement challenge. This decision would be final.

 

· Senior

(a) Has an acknowledged and demonstrated mastery in their particular area of interest.

(b) Active involvement in the promotion of knowledge and practice of their field of interest within the Kingdom and will actively plan, prepare, and run missile events

(c) A Senior must be able to evaluate others.
